Just watched 'Candy'

What is it about heroin movies that is so scarily seductive? I just got done watching 'Candy' and had the same experience of wanting to join in when they were having such apparent good times and then being utterly repulsed at the lengths they went to in maintaining their lifestyle. The acting was marvelous, scenes shot well, music fit. I could go on but the bottom-line is that it's an emotional rollercoaster of a movie worth seeing.

long time, no write..........

blogs are to write whatever, right? then i’d like to take a moment to be whiney. i’m at home feeling cruddy with all this time on my hands because i can’t do anything else. if i move, i hack. i’m having flashbacks to the twilight zone episode where all the guy wants to do is read. at the end of the episode he’s the only guy around with tons of books and then he breaks his glasses. doh! that’s how i feel right now. i’ve got tons of cool books to read, plenty of movies to watch yet i can’t concentrate enough to focus on anything. i guess i’ll throw something on the tube that i don’t care about and go back to dozing.
